About the Role
The Training Lead is responsible for training employees within their assigned departments by demonstrating proper procedures to both include new and existing hires. Assess needs and implement training programs to aid in department specific productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Set up and document all new hire training
- Coach and mentor training team
- Assign LMS for all new and existing hires
- Obtain all necessary signatures for training completion.
- Directly responsible for training department employees until basic proficiency is met.
- Trainers must train directly from the training manual and utilize job aids (laminates, clipboards) as they train.
- Providing ongoing and remedial training to specific department employees.
- Conduct system audits to ensure compliance of procedures are within standards.
- Monitor LMS progress
- Monitor training progress of department employees.
- Monitor performance reports and work with team leads to solve operational challenges.
- Execute department-wide training rollouts.
- Attend weekly trainer conference calls and meetings
- Attend department specific meetings.
- Create, deliver and/ or provide timely follow up.
- Responsible for proper understanding and following all company policies/procedures.
- Facilitate training as needed
- Manage team of trainers
- Ensure all operations training is consistent and Onboard, train and upskill employees within given departments
- Assess training needs
- Maintain training records
- Communicate gaps and solutions within given departments
- Serve as the SME within assigned departments
- Dental knowledge
- Passion for training and development
- Previous experience in a learning and development role
- Previous experience managing an LMS
- Previous experience with instructional design
- Reports to the Manager of Learning and Development
