Job Description & How to Apply Below

This is a high-impact, strategic role responsible for owning the end-to-end user experience (UX), information architecture (IA), and visual design (UI) of our Next-Gen Sustainability Solutions platform. You will participate in strategic research and translate quantifiable customer outcomes into intuitive, scalable, and delightful software experiences. You will be responsible for ensuring our solutions not only solve a functional problem (e.g., meeting a compliance deadline) but also solve the critical emotional job (e.g., reducing user anxiety).

This role requires a balance of strategic discovery and tactical service design.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Design & Research Partnership
  • Outcome Translation: Partner directly with the VP and Product Manager to convert prioritized, underserved desired outcomes into functional design solutions.
  • Service Blueprinting: Create and maintain service blueprints that map both digital and "off-line" interactions (e.g., data ingestion processes, consultant hand-offs), ensuring a seamless end-to-end service experience.
  • Information Architecture (IA): Lead the structural design of complex sustainability and utility data environments, ensuring that information is organized, labeled, and navigated intuitively for various user types.
  • Qualitative Synthesis: Actively participate in qualitative customer interviews to gain deep empathy for struggle points in their daily tasks.
Execution & Engineering Collaboration
  • Design Ownership: Own the creation and maintenance of a modular design system for the entire Sustainability Solutions platform. You are responsible for ensuring visual consistency, accessibility, and scalability across the modernization initiative.
  • Prototyping & Validation: Rapidly create interactive prototypes and high-fidelity mockups (UI/UX) to test critical workflow hypotheses. You will use these to validate solutions with customers before any engineering resources are committed.
  • Cross-Functional Execution Partnership: Work daily alongside the Product Manager and the Product Engineering team to deliver features within an Agile/Scrum framework. Serve as the definitive voice for the user experience during sprint planning and reviews.
  • Design Specifications: Deliver clear, detailed, and annotated design specifications and assets to Product Engineering, anticipating edge cases and technical constraints.
User Advocacy & Data-Driven Iteration
  • Validation & Analytics: Utilize product analytics platforms (e.g., Pendo, Amplitude, or Heap) to measure user behavior and identify friction points. Use a build-measure-learn approach to iterate designs based on real usage data.
  • User Flow Mapping: Map and optimize complex B2B user workflows to eliminate friction and maximize task completion velocity for both clients and internal operations teams.
  • Accessibility & Standards: Ensure all designs meet modern accessibility (WCAG) and usability standards.
Who You Are

Required:

Design & UX Mastery
  • Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), or a related field is required.
  • You possess 4+ years of direct experience as a Product Designer (or UX/UI Designer) working on complex B2B SaaS or enterprise software solutions.
  • Mastery of Design Tools:
Expertise in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Systems Thinking:
Demonstrated ability to create Information Architectures and Service Blueprints for complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • B2B Complexity:
Proven ability to simplify, design, and visualize complex data sets and multi-step workflows (e.g., dashboards, reporting engines, data visualization).
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to solve complex user problems, emphasizing process and user outcomes over aesthetics alone.
  • Demonstrated history of operating successfully within an Agile/Scrum environment, working directly with engineering partners.
Nice To Have:
Domain Empathy
  • Experience designing products that manage financial, compliance, or regulatory data (e.g., Fin Tech, sustainability, or supply chain tools).
  • An understanding of the user journey within the real estate or sustainability sector.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Opportunity to shape industry-leading sustainability products and drive real-world impact.
  • Professional growth and development within a collaborative and innovative team.
