• Collaborate with the committee to design and implement new AI حاجة and Data Science programs and initiatives
• Assess performance of programs, events, and initiatives after execution
• Update the data science website (data science.byu.edu) to keep faculty lists, research opportunities, course offerings, and events calendar current
• Handle logistics for AI and Data Science seminars, including travel for visitors, recordings, and advertising, in coordination with multiple departments
• Organize conferences put on by the AI and DS committee, such as the AI for Good conference; coordinate with state‑ and national‑level co‑sponsors and organize travel for invited speakers, recordings, and advertising
mety.
• Collect content for and send the weekly Newsletter to faculty and students about upcoming events, research collaborations, and job opportunities
• Ensure BYU AI and Data Science is well represented at state‑ and national‑level Data Science, machine learning, and AI events, committees, and initiatives
• Assist with meetings, planning, coordination, and logistical matters

Minimum Education / Experience

Required:

Bachelor’s degree

Education / Experience:

Experience organizing and administrating large projects and events; experience with data analysis, spreadsheets, and website management tools

Pay Grade: 51

Typical Starting Pay: $28.25–$36.25 per hour
