PositionSummary
Candidate will be processing incoming orders for gastroenterology procedures, making outbound calls, taking inbound calls, and scheduling patients accordingly. The role serves as the point of contact between ordering physicians, patients, and hospital/outpatient facilities.
Please note:
The majority of the day for this position consists of being on the phone and you must be confident and have the ability to work in a very fast paced environment.
- Making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls
- Asking all patient information to include medical questions for pre‑procedure screening needs
- Scheduling patients for procedures and processing orders in multiple systems while also educating patients on any preparation that is needed for procedures
- Responsible for daily tasks in assigned task boxes, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner
- Being a team player
- High school graduate
- Excellent computer skills and ability to train across multiple software platforms
- Ability to multi‑task using multiple programs simultaneously and working with dual monitors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated self‑starter who works quickly and efficiently in a very fast paced department
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail
- Bilingual is a plus
Monday‑Friday 9:30am‑5:30pm / 40 hours a week
