Salary: $17.00–$20.00 per hour depending on day and shift (hourly rate includes shift differentials).
Provo Canyon School, located in Springville, UT, is a 24/7 secure behavioral health treatment center for adolescents aged 13‑17. We coach, teach and mentor students with psychiatric disorders. - Serve as a positive role model for students while providing close supervision and documenting your observations.
- Be a team player and recognize the importance of this position to positive student outcomes.
- Support students in meeting defined daily goals, including hygiene, unit activities, education & therapy meetings.
- Confidently intervene during a student crisis by using verbal de‑escalation skills and other personal safety techniques you will be trained in.
- Use positive verbal skills and coaching to educate students on appropriate behavior and possible outcomes.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Conflict resolution skills, resiliency and patience
- Ability to pass criminal history background check and drug screen
