Assistant Financial Controller helps oversee global accounting operations across multiple domestic and international legal entities. This role is primarily responsible for the treasury, cash flow management, spend forecasting, disbursement controls, accounts payable, department support, bank relationships and fin-tech functions of the Company.
This position will collaborate on consolidated financial reporting, intercompany accounting, transfer price setting, international / domestic tax, product costing and strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and facilitate the accounting functions of AP, payroll, and sales tax to include review and approval of all cash spends, enforce adherence to spending policy, ensure adequate approval and ensure spending is in line with strategy.
- Manage consolidated weekly cash reconciliations, liquidity, and working capital
- Own the forecasts for operational spending, cash flow, budgets, and capital investments
- Monitor foreign exchange exposure and partner with leadership on FX risk management strategy
- Provide entity-level and consolidated financial reporting and analysis to executive leadership and ownership
- Oversee lender reporting, covenant compliance, and international banking relationships and know-your-customer compliance
- Support international expansion, acquisitions, entity setup, and post-acquisition integration
- Take the lead for finance department on integrating new fin-tech, managing processor relationships, and payment-type optimization
- Oversee and administer company disbursement tools and travel expenditure programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in leadership roles related to Finance or Accounting
- Expertise in accounts payable, treasury, accounting, tax, costing, international accounting are all helpful.
- Experience managing international statutory and managerial reporting
- Hands‑on experience with multi‑currency ERP and consolidation systems
- High integrity and extreme confidentiality with sensitive financial information
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Effective communicator with financial and non-financial stakeholders
