Required Degree:
PhD in Musicology required.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

College Level teaching experience required

Duties/Expectations:

* This position is only for fall semester 2026

* Firm commitment to the Mission and Aims of BYU

* Firm commitment to the Mission of the School of Music

* Excellent communication skills

* Mentoring students and consulting as needed

* Daytime teaching schedule including classes:

* Music 302 (Music of the Baroque), and one of the following:

* Music 601 (Medieval), Music 602 (Renaissance) or Music 603 (Baroque)

* Participate in meetings and other School of Music assignments as needed
