Required Degree:
Ph.D. in computer science or a related field. Candidates in the field of animation must have either a Ph.D. or an MFA in a related field. Required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

Outstanding candidates in all areas of computer science are encouraged to apply. Applicants with strong backgrounds in computer security or computer systems are particularly encouraged to apply. Outstanding applicants in technical areas of animation are also encouraged to apply.

Duties/Expectations:
Professorial candidates are expected to teach effectively in both graduate and undergraduate environments. All candidates are expected to be contributing citizens of the department and university. They are also expected to have a strong research orientation and scholarly abilities. Candidates in the field of animation animation are expected to have either a strong research orientation, a strong creative works orientation, or a combination of both.
