Faculty Position in Computer and Information Sciences, College of Computer & Information Sciences

Computer Science, Information Systems, and Software Engineering (Males and Females).

The College of Computer and Information Sciences is seeking applicants with the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor for the first semester of the next academic year 2026/2027, which starts on August 9th, 2026.

The candidate is expected to teach courses in the different programs including Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Information Systems, Bachelor of Software Engineering, Master of Software Engineering, Master of Cybersecurity, and PhD programs in domains of Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Business Analytics, and Digital Transformation, Game Development, Robotics, Drones, and Mobile App Development. In addition, successful candidates will be expected to conduct research, supervise student work, and engage in research activities and administrative work for the college and the community.

• PhD degree in the computing fields (Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Information Systems) from accredited universities in North America and Europe, with a preference for specializations in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Business Analytics, Digital Transformation, Game Development, Robotics, Drones, and Mobile App Development.
• SDG background to be integrated in the college curricula.
• An intensive and high teaching quality record.
• A track record of or potential to secure external funding and produce high-quality research.
• A track record of, or evidence of potential to, publish in leading international peer-reviewed journals (ISI and Scopus Q1, Q2).
• Experience in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research students.
• The ability to develop new areas of the curriculum should the need arise.
