Summary/objective:

As a Theatrical Logistics Coordinator for the theatrical team, your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with stakeholders to define goals, learnings, establish schedules, and monitor progress. You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery logistics of Angel Studios’ theatrical DCP (Digital Cinema Package) content. You will also be responsible for ensuring the highest cinema-ready quality of the content, in partnership with other teams.

Your attention to detail will play a vital role in ensuring efficient project quality, delivery, and success. Additionally, you will proactively resolve issues, provide critical updates to internal stakeholders, and track project deliverables.

Expectations at Angel Studios:
  • Amplify light in every action.
  • As the owner of your outcomes, you are empowered to break down silos and coordinate with any and all people you need in order to reach your goals.
  • You are ultimately responsible for achieving the outcomes while also using resources wisely - whether that be money, people, or time.
  • Know your customer - it might be our viewers, investors, creators, or internal Angel Teams. Ensure you understand your customer and are providing what THEY need and not just what you want to build.
  • Contributes in a way that moves the Angel mission forward and exemplifies the team qualities required for working at Angel.
  • When faced with roadblocks, mistakes or unforeseen circumstances, consistently and proactively find creative solutions and/or break down barriers to handle the challenge or complication. (Focus is on creating/building/testing/learning/resolution rather than getting stuck and identifying or placing blame).
Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate digital cinema content requests.
  • Manage digital cinema content logistics, from receiving and tracking requests, shipping content, and ensuring content readiness at the theater.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Support content deliveries to international partners when needed.
  • Gather and organize critical details for film screenings and coordinate content deliveries with Theatrical and Media Ops teams.
  • When needed, work with 3rd parties to execute single-use license agreements for special screening events.
  • Communicate bottlenecks and delays in deliverables.
  • Coordinate and support QC efforts of the final brand and theatrical deliverables, online and in-theater screenings.
  • Support efforts alongside the in-theater marketing team to maintain the accuracy of public theatrical brand assets.
  • Learn the existing processes and tools used by Theatrical Operations and Sales teams and identify opportunities to cut waste, gain greater efficiency, and scale the operation.
  • Assign tasks to the creative team inside Angel Studios and to outside vendors.
  • Coordinate with other coordinators and requestors.
  • Oversee project requirements and manage project timeline.
  • Track budgets based on each project.
  • Work closely with your manager to understand priorities and advise on best strategies to achieve them.
  • Work with team lead to create systems to address bottlenecks that may arise.
  • Regularly update project statuses.
  • Track the project deliverables and agreed deadlines.
  • QC final deliverables for proper spelling and grammar.
  • Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the English language required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
