Job Title: Subscription Manager

Hours/Week: 40

Starting Salary: Competitive based on experience

Job Description:

As a Franklin Squires portfolio company, Free Capitalist Enterprises focuses on distributing media resources related to the Principles of Prosperity—those rediscovered by America’s founding generation. The Subscription Manager will develop, implement, and execute a yearly circulation promotion plan for our products, focusing on subscriber growth and revenue generation.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage subscriber database and develop sales plans to increase subscriptions and revenue
• Provide timely sales, customer, market, and competitive analytics to senior management
• Develop strategies to maximize product value and branding initiatives
• Use research data to target demographics and develop new product offerings
• Maintain current knowledge of customer service and circulation technology
• Report on budget, forecast, circulation, and customer trends
• Foster relationships with editors-in-chief and editorial staff

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of publishing experience
• Strong project management, strategic thinking, planning, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with financial data, databases, and word processing software
• Experience in customer acquisition and growth
• Track record of increasing revenues and profit/loss management
• Positive attitude, motivation, and openness to new ideas
• Ability to meet deadlines and exceed expectations
