Junior Accountant

We are looking for a full-time Junior Accountant. This role is on-site in Provo, Utah.

Our Junior Accountant is responsible to provide accurate and timely support to the Finance team as needed.

• Research and resolve collections issues.
• Process customer payments.
• Maintain appropriate and adequate customer records.
• Correspond regularly with customers.
• Reconcile accounts receivable.
• Maintaining and updating customer files.
• Assist with weekly ACH and Wire payments.
• Verify new contractor documentation, process contractor inquiries and maintaining contractor file, process 1099’s.
• Assist in month-end closing and the processing of balance sheets reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting-related spreadsheets.
• Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as needed.

• 0-2 years of experience in accounting.
• Degree in Accounting, or pursuing a degree in Accounting
• Uncompromising integrity, discretion, and strong ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Able to build rapport cross-functionally through effective communication.
• Experience working with midsize ERP system.
• Critical-thinking aptitude, able to identify and proactively resolve discrepancies/miscalculations.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to read, interpret and execute written instructions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (verified through E-Verify)

• Cost accounting experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
