Seasonal Senior Tax Accountant

What you will do (Seasonal Focus)

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065) with accuracy and speed
• Research federal and state tax issues and summarize findings for internal review
• Respond to IRS and state agency notices as needed
• Communicate with clients to collect documents, clarify tax positions, and ensure smooth filing
• Work closely with partners and tax staff to manage daily workload during peak season
• Maintain awareness of current tax law changes relevant to seasonal filing.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (required)
• CPA license or CPA candidate (preferred)
• 2+ years recent tax experience (public accounting or high‑volume tax prep preferred)
• Experience with Ultra Tax (a plus)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High efficiency, accuracy, and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in Excel and Quick Books
• Adaptability and comfort learning new systems quickly
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
