Senior Manager, Global Event Security

Join our team as a Senior Manager of Global Event Security, a pivotal role dedicated to crafting and executing comprehensive safety and security strategies that ensure the protection of individuals, property, and revenue during events. You will play a vital part in upholding our brand's integrity while influencing strategic business operations, reporting directly to the VP of Global Events Security.

• Engage in pre-event walk-throughs and discussions with marketing teams to evaluate event layouts, safety requirements, and security needs, while identifying risks and devising customized security plans.
• Collaborate with various departments to assess potential risks and vulnerabilities, implementing security measures to safeguard against threats.
• Coordinate with marketing, venue security, and local law enforcement to establish effective communication and collaborative security strategies during emergencies.
• Supervise security vendors, leading training initiatives and managing security schedules for high-profile events.
• Develop and oversee security protocols for executives, entertainers, and government officials, ensuring adherence to local laws and industry standards.
• Influence security policies and practices alongside cross-functional teams, tailoring them to meet the unique needs of each event.
• Incorporate best practices for preventative security and contingency planning into the event planning process.
• Document and address security incidents, ensuring timely and proper resolution of any issues affecting event attendees.
• Work with marketing and vendors to enhance cost-efficiency while maintaining budget adherence.
• Perform additional security duties as needed to support the department or specific events.

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in security or operations, with a concentration in corporate event security, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Alternatively, 6+ years of relevant security experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and an acute sensitivity to situational demands.
• Adept at creating security schedules aligned with production timelines.
• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), strong project management capability, and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in Portuguese or additional languages is a plus but not required.
• A willingness to share innovative ideas for continuous process improvement.
• Availability to travel for several days or weekends as event schedules dictate.
• Must possess valid travel documentation for domestic and international assignments and be available to support multiple events each month.
• Flexibility and adaptability in response to evolving circumstances are essential.
