In Room Dining Server / Food Runner (Part-Time)

Compensation: $7.50/Hr plus tips and Tip Pool participation when running food at the restaurant.

Availability: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Location:

Salt Lake City Marriott University Park, Salt Lake City.

• Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner and assist host/hostess in seating guests as needed.
• Present the menu, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food, service, appropriate wines, and food preparation.
• Memorize menu selections and wines, including daily specials and basic ingredients.
• Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures.

• Previous guest service experience is required.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Conveys company information, decisions, or problems to appropriate parties in a timely basis.
• Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of guests and co‑workers.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
• Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, and manual dexterity.
• Hearing, writing, typing.
• Must be 21 or older to serve alcohol.
• Must possess an unexpired Utah food‑handler permit or obtain one within 14 days of employment.
