Registered Nurse Adult Med
Brown University Health is seeking a Registered Nurse on a 12‑hour night shift (7pm‑7:30am; every other weekend / holiday) at Rhode Island Hospital located at 593 Eddy Street Providence, Rhode Island 02903.
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, the RN will implement, supervise, and evaluate nursing care using a nursing process in accordance with hospital policies. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, delegating and supervising ancillary personnel, evaluating effectiveness of care, collaborating with the health‑care team, educating patients and families, participating in unit‑based quality improvement and research, and serving as a preceptor.
The RN may assume charge nurse responsibilities as delegated.
Qualifications:
Licensed RN in Rhode Island (or RN under the Nurse Licensure Compact). Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred. Must have Basic Life Support and ACLS/PALS certification. Demonstrated knowledge of caring for patients across the lifespan with consideration for aging processes and cultural patterns.
- Minimum pay range: $34.52‑$58.24 per hour.
- Shift: 12‑hour night shift, every other weekend/holiday.
