• Provides leadership and guidance to nursing staff, to ensure smooth operations and promote a positive work environment.
• Manage staffing and scheduling, and may participate in hiring and evaluating nurses.
• Coordinate training and education for nursing staff to enhance their knowledge and skills.
• Maintain quality patient care by collaborating with healthcare professionals and monitoring compliance.
• Coordinate the nursing team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Coordinating and managing resources, and collaborating with other departments to meet patient care needs.
• Facilitate teamwork, collaboration, and coordination to optimize patient outcomes.
• Capable of serving as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession.
• Plans and achieves objectives based on experience and judgment.

Candidate requirements

• An up-to-date resume.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• A minimum of 3-7 years of experience is required.
• An active, valid registered nurse license within the jurisdictional region is required.
• A valid NRP, ACLS & BLS Certification is Required.
• Other certifications, such as PALS, are preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is a mandatory requirement.
• Must have work authorization.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Availability to work on alternate holidays and weekends is a requirement.
• Effective communication skills, an adaptable personality, a strong disposition, and reliability are required.
