Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable System Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the final assembly and cosmetic preparation ("doll-up") of our laser systems, ensuring each unit meets Sciton’s high standards for quality and presentation before shipment to customers worldwide.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and understands the importance of precision in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Perform final assembly tasks including installation of cosmetic covers, labeling, and external components of medical laser systems.
- Clean, polish, and detail finished products to ensure a pristine, customer-ready appearance ("doll-up").
- Verify cosmetic quality, completeness, and packaging integrity according to specifications and documentation.
- Accurately follow assembly instructions, work orders, and safety protocols.
- Package completed systems securely for shipment, ensuring protection and presentation.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and shipping teams to meet production deadlines.
- Perform rework or adjustments as needed to meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or packaging, preferably in a regulated industry (medical device, aerospace, electronics, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and production documentation.
- Comfortable using hand tools and performing repetitive tasks with precision.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
The salary range for this position is $22 - $25/hourly. The final offer will be based on factors such as relevant experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with matching.
