Swenson Spreader, LLC is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling all types of freight, including receiving, inspecting, routing, and preparing materials for storage or production. This is an essential position that supports multiple departments and helps maintain an efficient and organized workflow throughout the facility.

• Receive and process incoming freight by interpreting packing slips and entering data into the Mapics system
• Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently
• Route materials to appropriate storage areas or point of use
• Assemble skids and prepare outgoing shipments
• Inspect incoming materials for quality and conformance using blueprints and tape measures
• Report defective or questionable materials to the area supervisor
• Accept and process returns as needed

• 1+ years of experience in a shipping/receiving role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of experience driving a forklift
• Strong math and reading skills
• Ability to use a tape measure and read blueprints
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

The role involves exposure to fumes, heat, mechanical parts, and other industrial conditions. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided.
