Opportunity

Our tax function is constantly evolving. In this role, you will develop technical expertise and industry understanding to identify risks and sustainable planning opportunities for clients, improve day‑to‑day reporting, reduce attribution errors and costs, and ensure indirect taxes are handled correctly.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Engage in client consultations and challenge the unclaimed property and escheat approach for optimal effectiveness.
• Develop strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with internal resources.
• Implement extensive knowledge of unclaimed property concepts and requirements.
• Coach and develop junior team members in a highly collaborative culture.

To Qualify for the Role

• A bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related work experience.
• CPA certification, US Bar membership, or an IPT professional designation.
• Technical expertise in compliance, audit defence, and consulting for abandoned/unclaimed property services.
• Performance and process advisory experience related to unclaimed property compliance.
• Broad exposure to state and local taxation.
• Excellent managerial, organisational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed and work in a balanced hybrid environment.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• At least 5 years of relevant unclaimed property consulting experience within a professional services environment.

• A comprehensive compensation and benefits package. Base salary ranges $105,100–$192,600 (U.S. all locations) and $126,100–$218,900 for NYC, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento). Total rewards include medical, dental, pension, 401(k), and flexible paid time off.
