Join a large nationwide environmental company as an Environmental Technician in our Providence team. You will play a crucial role in managing waste materials, including transporting and sorting drums of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Your responsibilities will include loading and offloading drums onto trucks, ensuring proper labeling and separation, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits!

• Transport drums of waste and dispose of them in a hopper.
• Identify and sort drums based on the substances they contain.
• Load and offload drums onto trucks safely and efficiently.
• Separate hazardous waste from non-hazardous waste and organize them in designated areas within the warehouse.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness through regular sweeping and organizing.

• Experience in environmental labor for 1 year or more.
• Strong attitude towards job success and career building.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.

• 40 Hour Hazwoper certification is a plus; certification will be provided.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Knowledge in construction, environmental science, and mechanical remediation.

Work involves both outdoor and indoor environments in the environmental field. Shifts run Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 8:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Providence, RI.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
