Title
UAT Tester
Duration12 Months (Possibility of extension)
LocationProvidence, RI-Hybrid (3 Days Onsite, 2 Remote)
Hours/Weeks35 hrs/Week
Responsibilities- Assist in evaluation and management of project scope (Business Requirements Documents BRDs / Functional Design Documents FDDs) with UAT Leads.
- Work with Agency Leads, Program Managers, and designated UAT representatives to understand business requirements and act as a liaison between Agencies and Vendors, including cross-agency UAT support as needed.
- Collaborate with project and development teams to review roadmaps, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and develop UAT schedules, test plans, and test cases.
- Prepare execution calendars and account/environment requests.
- Consolidate and review scripts and scenarios to ensure alignment with scope and business processes.
- Perform SQL queries to gather and validate data supporting UAT testing.
- Manage test scripts and defects in JIRA and JAMA, including logging and tracking.
- Oversee defect identification, review analyst issues, and collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve defects.
- Attend UAT meetings, provide status updates, and report testing metrics to the UAT Manager.
- Minimum of five years of UAT experience planning, preparing, and executing test cases.
- Knowledge and experience testing Health and Human Services systems with program familiarity including SNAP, CCAP, LTSS, Medicaid, and ACA.
- Understanding of SDLC processes, testing strategies, and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency with SQL queries and ability to retrieve and validate data for testing.
- Hands-on experience creating and executing test cases.
- Experience developing schedules aligned with testing timelines.
- Prior experience testing interfaces and third-party vendor integrations.
- Ability to QA deliverables prior to submission.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and scripts.
- Experience using Selenium to develop and execute automated tests supporting software releases.
