Aetna Health Digital aims to transform health insurance via products that enable consumer engagement and a best-in-class experience. This team is responsible for Aetna's digital strategy and all digital products, as well as the development road map and execution of the roadmap. A key part of this team is to build an integrated platform and underlying products to drive engagement and revolutionize self service.

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager/Owner to lead Agent definition and delivery for the Brilliant Basics portfolio. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers to gather requirements and align on agent-driven solutions that support key Brilliant Basics domain areas. You will lead dedicated scrum teams to write user stories and deliver scalable, secure, and performant backend capabilities that enable critical member-facing experiences.

Your work will focus on building agents and integrating them with the omni orchestration layer, driving complex self-service functionalities traditionally handled through phone calls. This role requires a strong understanding of APIs, data flows, and integration patterns to support these advanced features.

• Partnering with other product leads, business analysts, and system team experts to understand overall business requirements and decompose them into actionable user stories that development teams can execute on.
• Collaborating across the Brilliant Basics portfolio to align on domain requirements and cross portfolio impacts
• Leading and facilitating Program Increment (PI) Planning activities, ensuring alignment across teams, clear prioritization, and readiness of features and enablers.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to accept and validate backend code, ensuring it meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Driving the creation, refinement, and prioritization of user stories with a strong emphasis on technical accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
• Helping lead the team to success by working across groups to drive discussion and engagement, create and track user stories in a SAFe/Agile framework.
• Managing cross-team dependencies to mitigate risks and issues, ensuring timely delivery of features.
• Promoting transparency and alignment by effectively communicating priorities, progress, and risks within and across teams.
• Leading or participating in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and system demos.
• Engaging in technical discussions and solutioning sessions to collaboratively determine the best path forward for the product.

• 7+ years of experience in digital product or engineering ownership, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile, SAFe, or Kanban methodologies. Experience with common Agile tools such as Rally, Jira, or similar platforms.
• 5+ years of experience supporting technical business requirements definition and documentation in an analyst or product role.
• 3+ years of experience working closely with software engineering teams, including backend or architecture groups. Plus, experience with creating back-end workflows for Architecture and Server teams.
• 3+ years of experience facilitating PI Planning and driving alignment across multiple teams.
• 3+ years of experience with the ability to write clear, technically sound user stories and validate backend functionality through acceptance testing.

• Health insurance or healthcare industry experience.
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Product Owner or Product Management certification or formal training.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
