Overview

User Experience Designer role at Epic – campus in Madison, WI. Relocation to the area is required with national recruitment and relocation assistance provided.

As a UX Designer, you'll act as the lead experience and visual designer for several development teams, setting the direction for joyful design. You will meet with end-users to understand their needs, research workflows, and observe applications in use. You will collaborate with developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with solid information architecture.

Throughout the design process, you’ll demonstrate ideas with sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead experience and visual design for multiple development teams
  • Meet with end-users to understand needs and workflows
  • Research user workflows and observe application usage in context
  • Collaborate with developers to create intuitive, well-structured information architecture
  • Create design artifacts at multiple fidelity levels: sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
Qualifications
  • Solid portfolio demonstrating user experience and visual design skills
  • Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • COVID-19 vaccination
