Essential

Job Functions
  • Performs bartending duties at events
  • Leads in the execution of all events including; the ability to organize, execute and breakdown events
  • Works closely with other members of the department to maintain event fluidity
  • Loads and unloads catering vehicles for campus events
  • Maintains all sanitation and appropriate food safety standards established by the university
  • Maintains the proper storage and rotation of ready-made food products complying with appropriate food safety standards
  • Understands seating floor plans and banquet event order's (BEO) per specific request
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience working in culinary, food service, hospitality or other related experience
  • Obtain and maintain food safety managers certification approved by conference for food protection
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Obtain and maintain an alcohol certification (TIPS or STOP)
  • Ability to work occasional nights and weekends

Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus location upon hire.
