MHW w​/CNA ; assigned PT Eves Float

Job Summary: Provides patient advocacy by modeling standards of performance and communicating with patients to meet their service needs. Assists registered nurses in direct patient care, focusing on activities of daily living. Ensures a safe and therapeutic environment through observation, interaction, and group activities.

This position primarily covers 1:1 and/or designated acuity shifts on inpatient units. When no such needs are present, the employee is reabsorbed into the float pool to cover other hospital needs.

Specifications: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences preferred; comparable behavioral health experience may substitute for the degree. Experience with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients. Excellent written and communication skills. C.N.A. preferred; 2% pay differential available for active CNA license.

Schedule: 20/40 Part-Time Evenings, every other weekend.
