Job Summary: Provides patient advocacy through role modeling standards of performance and effectively communicating and meeting patients' service needs. Assists registered nurses in direct patient care, focusing on activities of daily living. Ensures a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit through observation, interaction, and group activities.
Specifications: Bachelor's degree in social sciences preferred; comparable behavioral health experience may substitute for the degree.
Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients.
Must have excellent written and communication skills.
CNA Preferred: 2% pay differential available for applicants with an active CNA license.
Schedule: 20/40 Part-time evenings, every other weekend.
