Job Requirements
Hematology Medical Technologist, MT or MLT - 2nd Shift
Location: Providence, RI Area
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hematology Medical Technologist to support laboratory operations on the second shift. This role plays a critical part in the patient care process by delivering accurate, timely diagnostic results in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform moderate and high complexity hematology testing
- Analyze, review, and accurately report test results
- Identify issues requiring corrective action and implement effective solutions
- Work safely in a laboratory setting with biological and chemical hazards
- Uphold safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control practices
- ASCP certification (or equivalent) required
- Hematology experience preferred
- Local candidates strongly encouraged to apply
- Training available for qualified candidates with limited hematology experience
