What You’ll DoPhysical Therapist Assistant:
Assist PTs in providing services that improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. Tasks include supporting treatment plans, performing therapeutic techniques such as massages, electrical stimulation, hot/cold therapy, traction, and ultrasound; recording patient responses; maintaining clean and organized treatment areas; moving patients; and performing clerical duties like ordering supplies.
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Minimum one year of experience, preferably in a clinic setting.
- Rhode Island license.
- Current CPR certificate.
