Manages external referral process including booking appointments, providing patients referral form, closing referrals quarterly, and verifies outside appointments.

• Responsible for the external referral process.
• Provides patients with referral forms, calls office and books appointments, closes referrals, communicates with outside offices, verifies appointments and obtains notes as needed.
• Schedule authorizations and coordinate all procedures.
• Work closely with clinical affiliates to facilitate referrals for surgery and other procedures.
• Assists with registration and check out for all patients and other patients as needed. Obtains correct patient demographic and insurance information.
• Verifies patient information when scheduling appointments.
• Triages incoming call appropriately scheduling patient appointments or directing calls throughout the practice.
• Attends and participates in monthly practice meetings.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• High School/GED with 1-3 minimum years of experience in job-related field or equivalent required.
• Medical Office experience required.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills, computer proficiency, team player, and familiarity with medical terminology.
