Job DescriptionSCM seeks an Associate for its direct investment team. The role is based in Providence, Rhode Island, with hybrid options in Boston or nearby areas.
Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluating and executing new investment opportunities.
- Support existing portfolio companies with strategic initiatives.
- Drive firm growth and management initiatives.
- Own financial models, analyze data sets, and develop investment views.
Qualifications & Preferences
- 1–3 years of investment banking, consulting, or private equity experience.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity, long‑term interest in investment, and demonstrated teamwork.
- Scrappiness, creativity, persistence, and positivity.
- Preference for candidates with ties to Rhode Island / New England.
