Time Mission designs and installs large-scale immersive gaming environments (“Portals”) inside customer-provided spaces. The base construction, permitting, and infrastructure are handled by the customer and their contractors. Time Mission is responsible for the delivery, assembly, installation, electronics integration, testing, and commissioning of the portals.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on three core responsibilities:
- Keeping systems operational under real-world conditions
- Driving permanent reliability improvements
- Overseeing integration of new hardware, revisions, and supplier components
You will work across electronics, mechanics, structural systems, and material performance — not just behind a screen.
This role is heavily site-based and requires approximately 35% travel across the United States.
RESPONSIBILITIES1. Maintain Operational Uptime
- Diagnose complex failures across mixed electronic and mechanical systems
- Develop practical, structured interim fixes when necessary
- Guide U.S. support and field technicians in implementing solutions
- Improve durability of high-wear components exposed to heavy daily use
- Minimize downtime across all active locations
Primary goal:
All portals operational, consistently.
- Conduct structured root-cause analysis
- Translate field realities into actionable engineering feedback
- Collaborate with European R&D and manufacturing to redesign weak components
- Improve material selection, fastening methods, and construction details
- Validate that implemented fixes perform under real-world load conditions
Temporary fixes must not become permanent weaknesses.
3. Oversee New Hardware & Supplier Integrations- Supervise installation of new components from overseas and U.S. suppliers
- Evaluate electronics, mechanical assemblies, structural elements, and materials
- Confirm performance, durability, and compliance with specifications
- Provide structured feedback to original manufacturers
- Close the loop between deployment and engineering design
You ensure that new revisions strengthen the platform rather than create new support burdens.

- Experience coordinating with overseas manufacturing teams
- Familiarity with structured support systems (Zendesk, Jira, etc.)
- Reduced recurring failures across U.S. locations
- Improved component lifespan and material performance
- Clear escalation pathways and faster resolution times
