Teacher's Assistant- Bilingual

Description

This position is part‑time. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM. It follows the school year with opportunities to work in the summer. Applicants who are bilingual are preferred.

• Working alongside the Lead Teacher to create a safe, healthy, structured, and nurturing environment.
• Engaging with children in learning—reading, playing, and having fun.

• Showcasing tech‑savvy skills by using an electronic daily‑tracking app.
• Assisting with the accreditation process as well as other quality initiatives.
• Implementing curriculum and assessments.

Visit

Our learning centers are open between 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday‑Friday. Locations are across Rhode Island. Positions are part‑time or full‑time with flexible schedules available. Benefits vary for full‑time/part‑time positions.

• High school diploma (or equivalent) or higher.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

• Ability to engage in physical activity with children (walking, running, crawling, bending, twisting).
• Visual and hearing acuity.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

• 18 years of age or older (Teen Aide positions are available for applicants 16‑18 years of age).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; bilingual encouraged to apply.
• Must pass national criminal background/fingerprints check.
• Must pass Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) Clearance Request (CPS).
