Brown University Health, the largest healthcare provider in Rhode Island, has an exciting opportunity for a urologist with training and/or experience in uro-oncology. We provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical care to patients with a wide range of urologic disorders. As part of a large, well-supported team you will enjoy a strong source of surgical referrals primarily treating Urologic malignancy. Urologic malignancy.
Brown Urology has the highest volume of urothelial cancer management in the region.
About the job
- Join 19 other urologists, 4 urologic cancer specialists and 7 experienced advanced practice providers
- Supportive clinical team includes a dedicated MA and RNs as needed
- The department has 6+ DaVinci robots and full, cooperative relations with interventional radiology
- See primarily new surgical patients daily with follow up done by APPS
- 20% protected research time with start-up funding
- Academic appointment to Brown
- Triaged call (with residents, fellows and APPs taking first call) 3-4 weekends per year and on average 3 weeknights per month
