An ED is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage.

Sample the latest dishes at a red-hot restaurant or score a one-of-a-kind find in distinctive neighborhood shops. Providence, Rhode Island has tons of public art, great museums, award-winning theater, and cool music to listen to while on assignment.

This emergency department role consists of 10-hour shifts with an average patient volume of 1.8 patients per hour. The facility uses Meditech 5.67 with Dragon dictation for documentation. There are 23 ED beds within a 135-bed hospital, and 12 hours of daily APP coverage are provided. A Fast Track area is also available and covered by APPs.

• Case Load/PPD: 30,289 and 32,335 annual volumes
• Support Staff: 30 MD hours, 12-22 APC hours
