Brown University Health has an opening for a board certified or eligible physiatrist with an interest in neurorehabilitation to join our growing, academically oriented Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. This position is based in Providence, RI.
- In an outpatient setting you will focus on expansion of general, musculoskeletal, and neurorehabilitation services
- Provide care on a lifelong basis, including related medical, physical, psychological, and vocational disabilities and complications
- Champion the transdisciplinary approach, providing evidence-based and goal-directed care across all environments
- Onsite dedicated therapists (PT, OT, SLP, Audiology and Aquatic)
- Partner with education, social, and community services
- Prefer proficiency in incorporating EMG/NCV (electro-diagnostics)

- Call will be determined based on staffing
- Board certified or eligible in physiatry
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- 2-3 years’ experience preferred but not required

The Department of PM&R includes multiple outpatient clinics, with a focus on neurorehabilitation, including concussion/TBI, spinal cord injury, and spasticity management. We also manage general rehabilitation patients with musculoskeletal needs, prosthetics and orthotics, wheelchair management, and oncological rehabilitation
