SummaryThe Administrative Lab Coordinator manages operational needs for the Neuroscience Department, supporting shared research equipment and coordinating space updates and inventory. The role leads the space audit, processes key and card access, maintains lab safety protocols and compliance, manages the department website, assists with annual NSGP recruitment and other events, and provides administrative support to the department manager and chair as needed.
Responsibilities- Lead space audit and biannual inventory of neuroscience equipment.
- Process key and card access requests and maintain security protocols.
- Maintain lab safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage the department website and update events and relevant information.
- Assist with annual NSGP recruitment and other departmental events.
- Provide administrative support to the department manager and department chair.
- Associate’s degree with 2‑3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Organize information, generate spreadsheet data, send and track email communications.
- Communicate reliably and effectively.
- Work independently and collaboratively with a diverse group of people.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Careful planning, attention to detail, and reliable execution of assigned responsibilities.
