Senior Accountant

Totlani & Partners has partnered with a PE backed manufacturing client to find their next Senior Accountant.

Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH)

This client is a manufacturer's representative for a wide range of products for the plumbing, HVAC, sewer, irrigation, and infrastructure markets. Headquartered in Charlotte, with a location in Lincoln, RI they service the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic markets and help manufacturers distribute their products efficiently through progressive channel strategies. They also provide a range of services to channel partners, including contractors, engineers, and distributors to ensure their projects succeed with quality products yielding superior solutions.

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Provide accounting support to field operations
• Oversee and serve as backup for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Perform revenue and cost recognition accounting functions
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations
• Manage corporate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting
• Perform weekly cash reconciliations
• Maintain strong internal controls environment
• Support special ad-hoc projects and financial analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting;
  Finance; or Economics
• Minimum 3+ years accounting, public accounting, or corporate finance experience.
• Self-starter: ability to effectively work independently and as a team player.
• Strong, current expertise in US GAAP accounting
• Excellent customer-facing experience and strong communication skills.
• Skilled and proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
• Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English.
