A rapidly expanding construction firm is looking to hire an Accounting Manager to oversee daily financial operations and drive stronger controls across a large, multi-entity environment. This position works closely with project teams, operations, legal, and senior leadership while managing a small accounting staff. The role is fully onsite and offers a base salary of $110K–$130K
.

• Manage the month‑end close process, general ledger activity, reconciliations, and internal reporting.
• Handle cash management functions, including forecasting, banking relationships, and intercompany movements.
• Oversee project and job cost accounting, including WIP analysis, budgeting, and margin review.
• Lead construction billing workflows—draws, retainage, and compliance items such as lien waivers and certified payroll.
• Supervise AP operations, vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and weekly payment cycles.
• Prepare consolidated financials, audit support, and technical schedules.
• Coordinate multi‑state sales and use tax filings.
• Maintain intercompany structures, allocations, eliminations, and new entity setup.
• Drive SOP development, process enhancements, and system improvements.
• Provide leadership, development, and oversight to a team of 2–4 accounting staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in construction, real estate, or renewable energy accounting strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, multi‑entity environments, job cost accounting, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures and consistently deliver accurate reporting.
