Leasing & Marketing Team Leader
Position: Leasing & Marketing Team Leader (Full‑time, Non‑Exempt)
Compensation: Hourly rate plus benefits and bonus eligibility.
SummaryAs the Leasing & Marketing Team Leader, you assist the Community Manager in maintaining all aspects of property operations, focusing on leasing, marketing, resident relations, and community functions. You strive for 100% occupancy through resident retention, leasing current availability, and pre‑leasing future availability.
Responsibilities- Utilize company leasing expectations and procedures to greet prospective clients, qualify them, determine needs, present the property and apartments, use feature/benefit selling, close the sale and follow‑up.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and handle them appropriately.
- Complete lease applications and participate in verification of applications; notify prospective clients of results.
- Maintain accurate client records and update daily reports on notice to vacate, vacancy, activity, etc.
- Maintain and perform upkeep of the tour route to ensure curbside appeal.
- Assist residents with day‑to‑day tasks as part of the community’s concierge program.
- Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
- 1‑2 years of customer service and sales experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- High‑energy and enjoys a fast‑paced environment.
- Enjoys and takes pride in providing excellent service.
- Excellent customer service skills, warm, friendly, and helpful in person and on the phone.
- Basic computer skills: typing, writing ability for correspondence, memos, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Available to work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to embody Cardinal culture and core values daily.
- Leasing agent, Leasing, Real estate, Leasing specialist, Leasing manager, Leasing professional, Leasing consultant.
Incumbents work both inside and outside apartment buildings, covering all areas of the property including amenities. Frequent exposure to outside elements such as temperature, weather, odors, and/or landscape may be unpleasant or hazardous. Physical DemandsWork requires use of hands and arms, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping or squatting. Weight handling up to 20 pounds. Vision, hearing, and communication requirements as described. Rare or regular travel may be required.
