Medical Front desk

McGuiness Dermatology & Plastic Surgery is seeking an experienced Medical Front Office Representative to join our growing, fast-paced practice. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a high-volume medical environment with minimal phone responsibilities.

• Patient check-in and check-out
• Collecting and verifying patient demographics, insurance information, and identification
• Scanning and uploading documents into the EMR
• Collecting co-pays, balances, and processing payments
• Preparing charts and ensuring accurate documentation
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
• Communicating professionally with providers, clinical staff, and patients
• Supporting daily clinic flow and assisting with administrative tasks as needed

• Minimum of 2+ years of medical front office experience required
• Prior experience in dermatology or specialty medical practice preferred
• Strong understanding of insurance verification and patient registration
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume office
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy
• EMR experience required (Mod Med preferred, but not required)
