Position Overview
PRN – Registered Respiratory Therapist at Dallas Center United Methodist. Provide specialized pulmonary care and diagnostic testing according to physician and evidence‑based protocols in a fast‑paced hospital setting.
Hours of Work7P – 7A. PRN coverage as needed.
Days of Week / Work ShiftPRN (United States of America). Flexible scheduling.
Job Responsibilities- Perform evidence‑based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders.
- Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment.
- Be accountable for your performance and continually seek ways to improve the patient experience.
- Take initiative for your professional growth.
- Be engaged and eager to contribute to a winning team.
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Network Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – must be obtained within one year of hire.
- Licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
- Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- At least 6
Reported months of respiratory care experience.
