The Lead Toddler Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, fostering a safe and positive classroom environment, and building strong relationships with children, families, and team members.
Key Responsibilities- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing learning environment
- Support social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Observe and document developmental milestones
Communicate effectively with families and provide regular updates - Supervise assistant teachers and promote teamwork
- Maintain licensing and accreditation standards (including Texas Rising Star, if applicable)
- CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- 1-2+ years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
- Strong understanding of child development and classroom management
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive, reliable, and collaborative team player
Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
