We are seeking a highly organized and process-driven Project Engineer or Project Coordinator to support a growing healthcare account in Prosper. This role will focus heavily on documentation, process improvement, and account management support for an active hospital client.
This is a paperwork- and systems-intensive position ideal for someone early in their construction career—or someone who thrives in coordination-focused roles and enjoys building structure, SOPs, and efficiencies. The right candidate will be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and proactive in taking ownership of processes.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as day-to-day support for a high-demand healthcare client.
- Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, logs, meeting minutes, and closeout materials.
- Maintain organized digital and physical project files.
- Track open items and ensure timely follow-up to keep projects moving.
- Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for documentation and workflows.
- Improve internal tracking systems and reporting efficiencies.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in all paperwork and client-facing documentation.
- Monitor compliance requirements and maintain organized audit-ready files.
- Support coordination between field teams, office staff, and client representatives.
- Prepare professional correspondence, status updates, and reports.
- Assist with scheduling updates, procurement tracking, and cost documentation.
- Help manage client expectations through clear communication and follow-through.
- Work hybrid during training; transition to primarily on-site in Prosper.
- Support site walks, documentation verification, and field-to-office communication.
- Track deliverables and ensure documentation aligns with work-in-place.
- 1–3 years of construction, project coordination, or administrative experience (healthcare experience a plus but not required).
- Degree not required;
Construction Management or related background is a plus. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or similar systems preferred.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Self-starter with grit, professionalism, and strong follow-through.
- Must be local to the Prosper area or willing to be on-site full-time after training.
