Overview
Duties and responsibilities would include: providing superior customer service to our visitors; educating customers about Cabot cheese, our farmer-owners, and all other products in the store; assisting patrons with making selections; helping to coordinate in-store events; assist with placing store product orders; and receiving / stocking inventory.
Essential Job Functions- availability to work a 40-hour work week – must be willing to work at least one weekend day and on some holidays;

- exemplary customer service as a team player and independently;
- effective communication and problem-solving skills;
- desire to become part of a unique team that cares about quality products and customer service;
- attend trainings, both immediate and ongoing, to gain essential food safety and product knowledge;
- individual will report directly to the Retail Store Manager.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Retail Store Manager.

Anticipated starting rate is between $47,000 - $52,0000 yearly.

Competent computer skills, including Excel, Word, and POS system experience
Work as part of a team both within the retail setting as well as in the larger Cabot marketing department.
PreferredPreferred candidates have a minimum two years experience in a related service industry, but willing to train the right individual who is focused and motivated.
