The Entertainment Stage Technician facilitates and supports the end‑to‑end technical execution of live entertainment productions, ensuring all audio, visual, and lighting systems are professionally installed, operated, and decommissioned. This role serves as a critical technical steward, collaborating with the production team to maintain equipment integrity and deliver high‑quality, safe, and seamless entertainer and guest experiences.
Equipment includes, but is not limited to, televisions/displays/video walls (installing & maintaining), head‑end systems – IPTV, encoders & audio/visual distribution, video switching, encoding, scaling & processing, speakers/audio systems (installed and PA for events & entertainment), pro‑audio mixing, distribution & processing gear, various entertainment lighting & SFX systems, and general networking gear (cabling, switches, routers & WiFi).
Areas of Responsibility- Technical event logistics & execution:
Executes the technical lifecycle of live productions, including the installation (load‑in), real‑time operation, and decommissioning (load‑out) of complex audio, lighting, video and scenic systems. - Advanced systems & industrial equipment management:
Safely operates sophisticated stage automation systems, including motorized rigging, hydraulic lifts, and theatrical elements. Additionally, maintains certified proficiency in operating industrial fleet equipment (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and skid steers) to facilitate heavy‑load logistics in compliance with OSHA and internal safety regulations. - Production liaison & stakeholder support:
Serves as a lead technical resource for guest artists and internal stakeholders. Collaborates cross‑functionally with stage management and visiting crews to troubleshoot real‑time challenges and ensure the seamless, on‑time execution of all performance itineraries. - Technical asset stewardship & preventative maintenance:
Manages the long‑term integrity of technical inventory through scheduled preventative maintenance, complex hardware repairs, and systematic organizational practices. Diagnoses system failures across audio, video, and rigging platforms to minimize operational downtime and maximize the ROI of high‑value technical assets.

Executes the full technical lifecycle of live events, including stage construction, lighting plots, system load‑ins, technical checks, and post‑event strikes. Ensures all systems are reset to operational readiness within strict turnaround windows. - Cross‑functional technical collaboration:
Partners with designers, creative leads, and management to translate artistic visions into technical reality, providing subject‑matter expertise to solve complex production challenges. - Precision performance delivery:
Operates technical systems in strict adherence to production schedules, cue sheets, and director instructions to ensure the delivery of high‑fidelity, consistent guest experiences. - Preventative asset maintenance:
