Thrive as a Caregiver Direct Support Professional at REM Community Services. This is a full-time role with shifts that vary due to medication needs. A driver’s license over 1 year is required with vehicle and AMAP certification preferred. Every day, you will be proud of rewarding work helping people grow, learn, and live well.

• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve. Take the initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition.
• Provide care to people with a variety of needs, including autism and related conditions. Assist with personal hygiene and support for individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Uphold the rights and dignity of participants and act with compassion, patience, and reliability.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills:
  
  Caregiver - Direct Support Professional (DSP) - STNA - Resident Assistant - Home Health Aide - Assisted Living – Group Home – Human Services.
• Behaviors:
  Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle:
  Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance in some positions.
