MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Current or temporary Speech Language Pathologist licensure in the state where services will be provided.
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology, obtained within 48 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.
- Manual lifts of patients are minimized; transfers and repositioning should not exceed 35 pounds, using lift equipment as indicated.
- Work requires strength and stamina for lifting, moving, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, and carrying materials and equipment that can weigh 40+ pounds.
- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, and various cleaning and laundry chemicals is a characteristic of the work environment.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES- Organize and prioritize time and tasks to achieve effective patient care and meet work schedules.
