Job Details:

• Work primarily in CT department with requirement to cover X-ray during 3rd shift when rotating on nights

• Weekdays typically 8-hour shifts, weekends and evening/nights utilize 12, 14, and 16-hour shifts

• Must be flexible to fall into normal shift rotations

• Weekend and holiday coverage possibly required based on need

• Call or standby requirement possible as back-up with 30-minute response time

• Perform 50-60 scans per day including CT brain, ABD/PEL, Chest Angio, Spines, Stroke Protocols, Trauma, extremities, and interventional procedures

• Must have venipuncture skills and ability to start IVs

• Work with two 2018 Siemens Edge 128-slice CT scanners (one in-house, one mobile docked)

• Use Meditech Expanse HIS system and GE Centricity PACS

• Chart in EPIC system

• Required certifications: BLS, WV license, ARRT CT board certification preferred

• Agency must provide radiation badge to traveler

• 3-day department orientation with first day spent with HR

• Dress code: scrubs of any color

• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license with submission

• 100-mile radius rule applies

• 2 shifts cancellation policy per 13-week contract

This acute care hospital features a very busy imaging department with comprehensive CT services and seven employed radiologists working both on-site and remotely. The facility maintains modern equipment and utilizes Nighthawk service for after-hours and weekend coverage. The organization provides a full range of diagnostic imaging services and maintains high standards for patient care with advanced technology systems.

Adex Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
