The candidate is responsible for Android framework development for Verizon in-house projects. The candidate must have depth knowledge of Android APK development. Responsible for leading project module individually within a team. Good communication skills and being a team player are the responsibilities for the proposed position.

• Must have hands on experience on Android app development with library integration knowledge
• Must have worked on JNI/NDK/native level work
• Good understanding of mobile and web server communication (REST API web services, XML parsing and JSON)
• Good understanding of Activities, broadcasts, services, fragments, Async Task, SQLite database
• Strong app framework knowledge on Android with Activity manager, window manager, content provider, view system, package manager, telephony manager, notification manager, resource manager, location manager
• Hands on experience on memory management—Data structures, Heap, Stack, GC etc
• Knowledge on Thread/Async tasks is must
• Experience on social networking SDK and FTP/SFTP services

  Bachelor’s in Engineering (CS, EE)
